Private transfer (30-45 min)

We offer a private car transfer service with chauffeur who will wait for you at the gate exit of the airport upon your arrival and will take you to the hotel.

Alternatively you can take a taxi at the airport exit.

Public Transportation (50-60 mins)

Train from airport to Trastevere train station (30 min.), then, take tram n. 8 direction “Piazza Venezia” stop “Belli” then walk for about mt. 400 to Lungotevere Ripa 6.

From Ciampino International Airport 16Km

Private Transfer (25 – 40 min)

We offer a private car transfer service with chauffeur who will wait for you at the gate exit of the airport upon your arrival and will take you to the hotel.

Public transportation

Shuttle from airport to Termini station, then bus H stop “Sonnino S. Gallicano” or Bus 170 stop “Mouth of Truth” then walk about mt. 450 to Lungotevere Ripa 6.

From Roma Termini Railway Station

Public transportation

Bus H and tram 8 stop “Gioacchino Belli” or bus stop 170 “Mouth of truth”. In both cases from the stop to our hotel will have to walk about mt. 300.

By car

Palazzo Baj is in the heart of Trastevere, on Lungotevere Ripa with no traffic restrictions so it’s easily accessible by car. Public parking is available on the Lungotevere or alternatively we have an agreement with a private car parking nearby for our guests.

• What time is check in and check out? 

Check in is from 14pm to 18pm. While Check out is within 10.30am. It is possible to request an early check in (11.30am) and a late check out (12.00am), upon payment and availability.

• Can I leave my luggage at the property if I arrive before the check in time, or after the check out?

Yes, from 9.30 you can come to leave you luggage until the check in time and after the check out for the day. A comunication is required.

• Is there a front desk?

Yes, every morning from 9.30 to 13.00. The assisted check in only upon scheduled appointment from 14 to 18,  we are here to welcome you in person, carrying Laura’s own eye for the neighborhood — not a rotating shift. Arriving later, or prefer to slip in quietly? Self check-in covers that.

• Is breakfast included?

No fixed breakfast — instead, a lounge stocked with a rotating selection of local products, available around the clock.

• Are the rooms quiet?

Yes. Every room is soundproofed against Trastevere’s street noise with the latest technology windows.

• Is it good for couples?

Yes — four rooms, no groups, and a lounge that never feels crowded.

• How far is it from the main sights?

Circus Maximus is 4 minutes on foot, the Colosseum 12, the Pantheon 15, Piazza Navona 15, Trevi Fountain 18. Trastevere itself is walkable end to end.

• Is there a spa or wellness service?

Not on-site — guests have a private arrangement with a nearby historic hammam, AcquaMadre.
